Dental Check Up and Teeth Impressions - $199
We need to give you a thorough dental check up and make sure you're ready for clear aligners. Fill out this form and we will contact you soon to organise your appointment. Your appointment is with one of our dentists. This will not just be about taking impressions and photos of your teeth. In order to provide you with the best treatment plan your check up will need to be thorough and includes x-rays of your teeth. Your dentist needs to ensure you are not suffering from any dental conditions such as tooth decay and gum disease, that you do not have any problems such as wisdom teeth that may be coming up for extraction and more. The appointment will cost just $199, however, if you are in health funds with dental cover, this can be done at health fund rebate only, with no out of pocket charge, making your appointment just $0.

What To Expect From Your Checkup.
First your dentist will take a look inside your mouth. It's important to check for any visible dental issues such as tooth decay and gum disease. Not every dental issue can be seen from the surface so our dentist will take small x-rays of your teeth and organise for you to get big x-rays of your jaws to show a full picture of your mouth and jaws. Big x-rays can be taken just around the corner from our dental practice and are bulk billed by Medicare. If you have no dental issues, your dentist will take photos of your mouth and impressions of your teeth. These photos and impressions will be sent off for review by an orthodontist and your clear aligner treatment plan prepared. The treatment plan will include what is necessary for your teeth straightening process and images of your projected end result, which your dentist will discuss with you. All of this is covered by your $199 payment. Remember if you have private health cover you may be entitled to a health fund rebate and a $0 appointment with our dentist for this. During your check up if issues come up that may prevent or delay your clear aligner treatment, your dentist will provide you with the necessary treatment plan to prepare your mouth first or provide you with alternative solutions for straightening your teeth.
